Brianna has lived in Brookfield for almost 20 years with her son, a BHS class of 2023 graduate. She was first elected to a 2 year term on the Board of Finance in 2019 which would become one of the most challenging financial times when five months later the pandemic hit. The town was forced to navigate a budget that would represent the next fiscal year, a complete unknown. Brianna was able to work effectively and respectfully with all parties and all boards throughout that difficult time. After being re-elected in 2021, the Board of Finance would be tasked with coordinating a budget with increasing debt while making sure the mill rate stayed as low as possible. After a brief hiatus in 2023 she was voted back on the Board of Finance in 2024 due to a vacancy and she has enjoyed once again being on the team continuing to find solutions to fund our town in the most fair and equitable way for all taxpayers. During her first two terms, she was Secretary of the BOF and also served as member of the Capital Committee from 2022, taking over as Chairman in 2023-2024.
When Brianna is not serving on the Board of Finance, she manages three motorcycle stores spanning across three states. She credits the fast paced environment and her role as the Operations Manager for the past 15 years for allowing her to think outside the box to find non-traditional solutions to everyday problems. In this current position, she is in charge of budgets, audits and financials which made her transition onto the Board seamless. In her spare time, she enjoys her time with her family, advocating for pit bull rescue, volunteering for various charities and competing in athletic competitions.
