 A proud graduate of Ridgefield High School, Michael went on to earn his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Bridgeport Engineering Institute at the Fairfield University School of Engineering. Professionally, Michael has worked as a manufacturing manager for CEA Combustions, was the Vice President of engineering for Norco in Ridgefield and was the VP and a managing partner for GK Mechanical systems right here in Brookfield since 1996. Publically, Michael has served on the New Milford Ethics Commission as well as the Brookfield Zoning Board of Appeals.

Michael recently sold his business and along with his wife Gigi moved to Brookfield five years ago after living for 20 years in New Milford. After many years on town committees, Michael would like to step up and serve in a capacity to help the Town of Brookfield manage its finances. Michael has had the unique experience of becoming familiar with the statutory duties of a Board of Finance and has successfully filed a lawsuit as a taxpayer when the former Mayor of New Milford usurped the BOF's authority and misappropriated funds for a political project. In addition to overseeing the financial management of his own business for 20 years Michael has also worked closely with the New Milford Board of Finance.
