Liam Enea grew up in Brookfield, graduated from UConn, and works at ISO New England. He serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Energy Advisory Board, and the Youth Commission, which he restarted in 2018.
In Hartford, Liam's proposal to reduce electric rates through a natural gas capacity market played a role in Senate Bill 7, prompting DEEP to evaluate the adequacy of the state’s gas supply system in 2023.
On the ZBA, Liam votes to protect public health, safety, and Brookfield’s natural beauty. He believes in upholding landowners’ right to enjoy their property, but opposes frivolous self-imposed hardships that undermine fair land use.
As Brookfield’s youngest public official, Liam serves to help create a future where young people build equity, start families, and become engaged citizens in town.
